Drug dealer does not show up for court. Fascists use this as an excuse to promote aggressive law enforcement tactics. Maybe we should do something to prevent and treat and opioid addiction?

And it seems that more apologies to Manchin are in order. Got the GOP in the Senate to pass the semiconductor bill by pulling out of the slimmed down BBB bill (following Mitch's threats to scuttle the semiconductor bill due to the BBB bill), and then came back and agreed to the slimmed BBB bill. Nicely done.

Looks like Schumer and Manchin mousetrapped Mitch.  Hope Durbin doesn’t f*ck up this deal.

The princess gets in line or she's a former Senator in 2 years. Her only path at that point would be FOX commentator.
She'd lose a primary in either party.

Because it is such a big problem.  There really wasn't much of an uproar when Renee Richards played professional tennis.  But that is because she wasn't that good.

It's obvious that trans people are going to be the rightwing boogeymen for this election cycle.

This issue should be in the purview of the people that run whatever sports league that it is, NOT the government.

I would not say that. But you are correct that she was not any good.

I think a distinction can be made that Richards did the transition and was not playing with a spare racquet handle. On the flip side, "Lia" is still swimming with a rudder. Between Lia swimming with a rudder and "trans" prisoners knocking up women in the NJ jail system, I can understand why this is an issue for some people. However, how many "non-trans" people are going to want to go through these hassles just to dominate women's sports? (Jail, I understand...) I doubt many will.

The situation called for a different approach that would have deescalated the situation and  resulted in a different outcome.
