Definitely helps. 2016 wasn't that bad in terms of the economy, a charismatic candidate might have been able to stay in office. Or even Joe Biden, just a regular white guy who at least wasn't anti-charismatic tied to a reasonably popular president.

Biden may have elected Trump 2x, first by not running in 2016, second by running in 2024. Some random White Governor might have stood a chance vs Trump. But I doubt it - those expensive eggs. If Harris had been marginally close, you could tie it to the views of the Amish on transgender in one corner of PA that swung a critical state. But to get slaughtered like this across all demographics, it can only be prices of goods.

Bernie Sanders has been the most popular politician in America for most of the last 8 years. Pretty much never leaving the top 2-3.

Political Parties are not democracies. Jill Stein didn't have to run any primary.

Maybe you need to go to Rafah or Kharkiv and see a real dystopian nightmare. There's plenty of unsavory shit going on in Oakland CA but we went to see Modest Mouse at the Fox Theatre last night and it was awesome. Maybe on one corner walking to the parking garage we smelled something funky, and we had to pay for parking because street parking isn't maybe the best idea. First world fucking problems.

The best part of this is that The January 6th Scheme and The Fake Electors Scheme are ok, but Biden dropping out isn't. Got it.
