JFC, Nichi. What was the argument here? What is the best way to convince a Judge Judy that his view on transgendered people using the bathroom is wrong.  By calling him a dumb bigot or appealing to reason? The same logic applies to basically any other issue, including free shots, if you are serious about trying to change minds.

CRT doesn’t hurt my feelings.

I don’t believe we have to saddle ourselves with guilt and try to bring down white people in order to lift minorities or marginalized people up. It’s counterproductive and an enormous waste of energy.

I agree that the left needs to realize the black communities are not homogenous. There are plenty of evangelical conservative black communities (gasp!) in this area. Educated Africans come here and are successful at a much higher rate than African Americans. Whitey indentured the Chinese to build the railroads, but in 2023 one of the single biggest indicators for future success in the systemically racist US is to be born Asian. There are a lot of things worth looking at besides blaming Whitey for everything.

I think that guy is talking about England, not the United States.

If racism and bigotry are problems, and you are serious, then address them. 

*Through legal action -- criminal prosecution and civil lawsuits.
*Through education; which involves both reason and calling a bigot a bigot.
*With political action. Defeating  bigoted Republican candidates.
