That is between the 2 numbers. Iirc, the Dept of Labor had a higher percentage.

I found one source citing USDA that gave the percentage of unauthorized migrants working in agriculture as 4%>

Miller, who once wanted to bomb boat people, gave it as 1%.

The point of the post was twofold, neither of which was accurate numbers.

1. There are a lot of unlawful migrants in Agriculture..Deporting them would have an impact no matter what Miller says.

2. There are lots of them in other fields, pun intended, too. I would guess recent arrivals would be more likely to be found in some of the industries listed on the chart.

Then there is the camp I’m in. We are people all over the political spectrum out doing charity work, raising money, building homes for people, mentoring and being actively involved in shaping others’ lives. Most of the ones I know happen to be moderate to conservative. The religious groups you so predictably hate do a lot of tangible good, too.

They are a freedom loving lot; but as long as the freedoms of mostly white Christian males remain unabridged, they are mostly silent.if it was up to many of them, gays wouldn’t even be able to buy a wedding cake.
