They really did a shitty job on Pete Hegseth, I think they would have preferred that guy not get confirmed. RFK Jr they are really drilling into the ground. He's an easier target an more important to block. Ironically, they are really getting after him for his earlier statements supporting abortion (beyond the levels generally seen by most Democrats), to try to give the GOP Senators an out.

It is cute that after all the nomination proceedings over the years that you think Senators can be  competent in their questioning.

Michael Bennett did a really good job. RFK Jr won't last if he gets in. The true mark of a Trump acolyte is that they are super adept at answering a question with "Well, what's really important here is (something completely unrelated, insert strawman)"

RFK Jr was feckless. A lot of it was that the Senators were super jacked up to stop him.

"Did you say blah blah blah"
"Well, I was quoting blah b.."
"I'll take that a a yes, ok my next question, did you say blah blah blah"
"Well.."
"OK that's a yes so my next question is"

RFK wasn't fast enough and his voice is so fucked up he wasn't capable of just talking over the Senators like Hegseth

Sanders exposing RFK on his abortion stance(s), and getting RFK to say “I can’t give you a yes or no that question” on whether healthcare should be a human right wasn’t exactly shabby work.
