“Good” isn’t quite what you’re looking for from the #1 recruit in the country.
He was a disappointment compared to what was expected.

He couldn’t spell cat if you spotted him the C and the T.

B1G Honorable Mention isn’t enough production from the most athletic 7’0 player Illinois has ever had. He was drafted almost strictly on potential.

He still put up 13 and 8 playing in Weber's broke ass motion offense in his soph year. I'm not gonna call that disappointing.

Illinois went 6-12 in conference play and missed the tourney. I’m calling that disappointing. He was an empty calories player. Not dominating in any way.

The numbers weren't bad, but my one memory of him as an Illini is crying when we were getting our asses kicked by Nebraska and that should land him on the disappointments team bench by himself.

Putting up ok numbers on a piss poor team doesn’t save you from landing on the All-Disappointment Team.

I get that but putting him with names like Jereme Richmond and Crandall Head is quite harsh. Those guys weren't just disappointments they were complete and colossal failures. He at least deserves better than that.

Ok, we’ll name him MVP of the All-Disappointment Team.

That game was the end of Weber’s tenure.

Nice fairly obvious article, ex player contributes. Glaring omission...not one mention of CoHawk.

Omitted from the article, omitted from the draft....kid screwed up so far by coming back imo.
