Not quarreling at all. It's not my fault you're a douchebag.

Douchebag calls another guy douchebag. News at 11.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

There's a whole lot of revisionist history going on regarding Curbelo among our fans at the moment.  People acting like folks were just blinded by his flashiness and that's why anyone thought he might be a decent college basketball player.  People saying that are idiots, and have simply forgotten that he was really good - no qualifiers - as a true freshman on a 1-seed.  Efficient scorer, close to 2 A-TO.  He wasn't named the best bench player in the league because he was flashy, he was named that because he was really good.

I have no idea how much the concussion played in, but I do know that once he had the concussion he never looked the same again.  I also think our staff handled that situation poorly, including not even taking him out of the game when he got a concussion so bad he missed like 6 weeks of games.  I was surprised at the time they didn't take more heat for that.

All reasonable. I felt like there was more going on than we knew, but I have no idea what. Just felt like we were in the dark.

Allegedly he has some sort of addiction issue.
Not clear what that is.

Take it with a grain, but have a feeling that he has an undiagnosed mental health issue exacerbated by the concussion.

Concussions are really scary stuff, and absolutely have the ability to change someone's personality or make negative things worse.  Not saying I know for sure that's what happened here, or that it's all that happened here, but it's certainly plausible.

As we should've been, for the most part.  It's not really any of our business.

Probably. Can depend on what that issue is. If it’s what you stated above, correct.

It really doesn't.

Surprised you'd argue there is a situation where fans deserve to know what personal issues players are going through.  Usually you're on the right side of that sort of discussion.

The players don't owe us a fucking thing.  It's none of my business what happened with Curbelo or what he's gone through.  If he wanted me to know, he'd go public.

Again, it just depends on what the issue is/was.

If it’s a deeply personal issue (say mental health), then no. We don’t deserve more info. If he wasn’t going to class or his problems were attitude/effort based, that’s reasonable to know.

There is zero reason whatsoever for us to know what personal issues are happening with the players.

To what?

Programs got two extra paid coaching slots this year, and Tyler got one of ours (he had been working with the program in some lower level position last year)

Don't really have a problem with it, but would think at some point everyone involved would want him to go off and have some experience, maybe some success, away from his dad.

Post-concussion syndrome even by itself can be wild and it's difficult to grasp because most concussions heal reasonably quickly. I only pretend to be a doctor in certain legal situations but it seems plausible.
