This team is a lot like the high scoring Iowa teams under Fran.
Can really put up some points but lacks some toughness and can't guard quite well enough to win games down the stretch.

Roster construction has been a chronic issue with Underwood no matter who the assistants are.

There is little they can do to correct this for this season.
Have to hope the offense carries them.

We'll play 1 game in 11 or 12 days thanks to scheduling and watching a dude on the other team go for a career high in that 1 game.

Kind of sad that we ALL thought man what a great find....AND Keaton Wagler was just that. The reality thought which most of us never live in (called orange colored glasses) is that we really thought we had a legit chance to go far with this lineup.

We didn't figure out till too late, that we are slow, we HAVE to shoot a high % from 3 pt land, some would say an ELITE level and we cannot stop good experienced lead guards. When it comes to March/April, the teams with the most talent and more importantly the ELITE guards, usually win out. We have talent, not ELITE, and yes we may very well need Keaton to score 30-40 each night for us to advance. If he does, we go far, and he moves up the draft board even higher..........it isn't going to happen, the 18 yr old legs have kicked in, this isn't Shawnee Mission any longer, and he got BEAT up this year.

Funny thing is - we went 0-4 in overtime games. Make a few free throws and we win all four and we don’t make this analysis

This team has as good a chance for the elite 8 as the squad that lost to UConn. Well, not in retrospect because that team actually did it - but we’re probably in an equivalent position going in
