Get her a knock off Cartier lock and key bracelet.

They don't even make you take them of at TSA!

She has the airport pass thing given she has had a knee replacement and doesn't want to deal with the searches But thanks for the suggestions. Good perspective to view.

I honestly thought of this when I first saw the thread. This and bags for the hamper.

Does she like kale? I have this bag of crunchy kale that I bought on "sale" before T-giving, with the idea that I should eat something healthy to offset all the bad stuff.

It's actually quite tasty.

I think I found the perfect holiday gift for your wife.  Something that you can do together.  No parallel parking required.   Just watch out for those self-centered and airheaded Chicago motorists.   You know who I’m talking about.

And those "pesky" drivers texting, emailing, checking social media, shooting videos, snapping photos and shopping online.

I never even knew about it until I was flying and the TSA lady was like oh is that the cartier lock bracelet and they waved her through.

So I googled it but it's expensive!

But I think a cool concept. I guess kinda shovnistic, a guy gives a girl a bracelet she can't remove because he holds the key lol. But I think it's a sweet gift too.

Hey why I said get knock off!

Haha most people don't have vehicles in Chicago. Only place I lived I sold then didn't have a car (downtown though) . It was $300 just for the parking space

Suburbs yeah, but remember one time I think I was going to Northbrook or Deerfield. I had gone shopping had tons of bags and got lost on the trains, slipped on ice like 40 times. It was a nightmare. This was a summer while I was off from college though.

Ok. So anniversary is tomorrow.  Less than 30, more than 25, so not one of those magical numbers. (Plus, I now have a basement I have to figure out how to "rebuild" half of that insurance does not cover...)

As usual, looked online and all the suggestions are crappy.

Looking for advice: The PassiveWoman loves going to movies. I have not gone in years, as most of the post-pandemic movies have looked like garbage or recycled stuff. When she goes now, it is with one of her mom friends and they do lunch, blah blah blah.

Thoughts on it being too cheesy to offer up as an "anniversary gift" that I would take her to Oppenheimer at one of those IMAX places, right? She would love it, but an an anniversary gift? I'm thinking I could pull it off because she would love it, and definitely would be surprised by it, but still....

Thoughts? Advice?

Go somplace she's never been or do something she's never done.

Or combine a weekend getaway with a movie.
