And sure, we can manufacture some things here, but semiconductors would be pretty low on my list. They aren't very labor intensive and that's not where the value add is, all you really get out of it is dealing with all the chemicals. There are a lot of places in the valley where small fabs are, and they are zoned really nutty because you don't want children anywhere near them.

All the money in semiconductors is in designing the chips or making the machinery that goes into the fabs, that's all done at places I can see out my window, AMAT, KLA Tencor, etc.

National Guard has people and trucks. Load up trucks and drive them, drop off and unload stuff. Maybe the National Guard can even make some money off of it. 

Isn't everyone blaming car shortages, etc. on the lack of chips due to factories in third world countries closing down due to the pandemic?

Having said that, PAMan is partially correct. I’ve barely paid attention the last couple months. I could see the writing on the wall re: Biden, and I always give myself a politics break during NFL season. Especially the first couple months.

Focusing on football and not politics (why set yourself up for disappointment), is what enabled me to win $10,000 in DFS this year.

The writing has been on the wall for several months. Manchin and Sinema were going to play the bad cops, and corporate Democrats were going to get what they wanted in reality all along, and still end up looking foolish. It’s how the sausage is made in DC.
