You said they’re in the business of making money and not for any moral reason. And I agreed by saying that’s what most of the COVID response and PR work is about, empty and often meaningless messages about how seriously they are taking it “because of the safety of their employees and customers.” It’s about liability more than anything. I doubt the head brass at McDonald’s probably gives a real shit if a single mother who works the drive through window and lives with her elderly mother gets COVID. They just want to make sure their customers think they do.
