Where are the problems in the statement the White House economists made? All I’ve seen from you guys here is worst case scenario fear porn that doesn’t take into account how much these countries need trade with us, how they’ll end up footing the bill for a lot of the tariffs themselves to stay competitive here, and that the tariffs themselves are negotiable and most likely temporary. Even if they aren’t, the economy and consumers will adjust.

I haven’t heard you guys complaining about how dumb it is that all these countries already have tariffs on our goods. It’s almost like if Trump does it, it’s automatically bad and all you need is to lap up some confirmation bias from Politico or CNN to complete the circle.

Somebody writes an "according to unnamed sources familar with, insert agency, some members are not happy with Trump.
So everybody gets up in arms and says 'even people in Trump's, insert whatever you want, disagree with Trump.

What tariffs do all these countries have on us? Do you know?

So let's say Miran crashes the markets, causes a steep recession, devalues the dollar, interest rates bottom out, and we get deflation. That maybe helps those with adjustable-rate / variable rate debt. Like Sam.

How about those with equity backed fixed rate debt? They aren't going to be happy.

Maybe DOGE purges the voter rolls and makes it a huge hassle to vote unless you have a passport or Real ID?
