Sounds cynical, I suppose, but I know State Farm has their "disaster relief" trucks and their employees going out to places that got fucked up and make sure they get pictures of them handing bottled water and blankets and shit to people. While it's definitely helpful, they're doing it to get on the fucking news. It's all about business, and making money. Bottom line.

They have brought it upon themselves buy living in a hurricane floodplain when the climate is warming, thus making the hurricanes linger longer with more water to pour down on them.
