But Vance could have really gotten in there and pointed out that Central Wyoming and Nevada don't have hurricanes, wildfires, or even earthquakes!

The long term residents have moved to the Ashville suburbs from what I have read. Probably soccer moms galore driving minivans and SUVs.

It’s an exception and not a norm, and adjustments/reinforcements can be made. Kinda hard to come down on all the people who bought houses that were cleared by the local government and insurance companies to be in safe areas. Then they get an event of this magnitude and won’t even be able to sell what they have left. Also, no one here has any inkling when another event of this type will occur again there, and if you say you do, you’re lying. Everyone is acting like it’s going to become a yearly event because just like with any type of shooting the media immediately puts you into climate change fury any time a storm hits. Give me a break. Asheville will be fine.
