“The intervention was the earliest action yet known in an effort by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo that concealed how many nursing home residents died in the pandemic.”

Not sure how much I agree. Campus speech codes and liberal thought police predate Trumpism. My past critique of the left was they had plenty of diversity of form, but not much of ideas. The only change I've seen is the Trumpist right has neither.

The other day, in one of his umpteen weekly appearances on Mn's favorite cable news network, Eddie Glaude argued that the Democrats won a mandate in the 2020 election and that it was their duty to move America leftward.

Of course, the Democrats LOST seats in 2020 because of their leftward lurch.

But Eddie Glaude's PhD is in Religion and not history. So he's allowed to believe things that are demonstrably untrue.
