Biden does have trouble keeping the chronology of past events straight when speaking off the cuff. That happens when we get older.

Trump represents  the alt - right, ultra-nationalist, populist wing of the Republicans. He / they admit he failed his first time around and have an actual plan, not a parody, to correct that.

I don't believe they can succeed in extralegally ejecting 15 million allegedly illegals, but I believe they will try and it could get ugly.

That is only part of their plan.

I still think it’s interesting that the economy is supposedly so good but it really seems like a lot of jobs have been shed in a lot of industries, and it’s not nearly as easy to find a new one as it was a couple years ago in many industries.

I think it's interesting that the thesis that a lot of jobs have been shed exists despite repeated robust jobs reports that have Jerome Powell refusing to cut rates, and a US unemployment rate of 4%

Service industries and some manufacturing/construction adding enough jobs to keep the numbers looking good, but for how long?

Alum’s article states that layoffs are a big reason it’s so hard to find jobs right now. 🤷🏻‍♂️

a bunch of people hit the google/facebook/amazon lotto when those companies overhired. The packages they gave out were legendary, several months of salary, etc...

I see those people at the dog park daily. They aren't crying in their soup.

See guys, all these layoffs, like our empty city centers, are a good thing. Lots more time for leisure activities when you don’t have a job!

Sounds like a return to normalcy after the post pandemic hiring surge.

Don't worry. Once Dear Leader is reelected,   millions of jobs will open up in the ag, service, and hospitality sectors.
