There may be more indictments down the road tho.

None of those guys may even testify given the current ruling.

Statute of limitations has to have passed on many possible claims. The Sussman charge was filed the day before the 5 year SOL ended.

The 5 year anniversary for Sussman's alleged lie was the day after the indictment was filed.  Unless new alleged lies were made since then, the statutes have been blown.

As far as A, the GA Tech guy, allegedly, picked the data apart and said this cannot prove what you claim it proves, or want it to prove. Presumably, and it may be a stretch, the FBI has tech people who are as smart as the GA Tech guy.  The NYTimes, etc. not so much.

B is true (and wasn't Fusion originally hired by GOP candidates to dig up dirt on Trump and then the Hillary Campaign employed them once Trump won the nomination?), but one would think they are not generally giving their data (which they presumably know cannot dispositively establish the allegations) to the FBI to get it to investigate said allegations.

If we are using Trump as a comparator, we are all fucked.

Joffe et al lacked the resources to do the investigation. That is why they took it to the FBI.

fwig, the FBI neither confirmed nor refuted a Trump - Alfa Bank connection. They don't know what the evidence pointed to. Could've  been white noise, marketing spam, a Tump - Alfa back channel, something else.

Did you read The Federalist article about the GA Tech dude? Yeah, I know it is the Federalist, but they FOIA'd his emails....The argument is that this guy picked the data they had apart, and the white papers built around that data, and said it does not "prove" they communicated. But sure, if you are not a tech expert like me, it can pass the initial smell test.

I get that the white papers were to be used to bootstap the limited data they had to convince some journalist to get the ball rolling. Why give those white papers to the FBI though if your own guy is telling you that your data is insufficient to actually prove X?

Maybe shit like this has been going on so long, and the FBI throws it in the X File, that Sussman thought nothing would come of it. I guess we will find out if there is a trial.

Can Dunham even prove the negative - that no communications took place? Who knows?

What a waste of fucking money. That’s not gonna make a bit of difference for some people to get a fucking $50 gas card.

I’m sure the state will make it up by fining gas stations that don’t put the sticker up stating the the Governor is suspending the same fucking gas tax that he implemented in the first place.

Another example of creating a problem and then acting like a hero trying to fix it. It’s baffling how fucking dumb our politicians are.
