You forgot Minneapolis, which was a doozy. And Mayor Frey just got re-elected.
And Gov Walz will probably get re-elected in spite of 2020 riots and leading the country in long term care percentage of deaths for quite a while. I voted for him last time, but he wont get my vote this time.
Homicides have broken last year's total, I believe. The fishwrap doesn't like to bring it up often.
I believe Kenosha homicides are up over 2020 also.

I didn't forget to mention Minneapolis or countless other cities for that matter.  I was merely citing an article, demonstrating that local officials around the country are adding funds back into police department budgets due to public pressure.  The article didn't say it was being done everywhere.   

If you got a problem with local and state officials in Minnesota, I would suggest you work wtih other like-minded people to press for better public safety policies and funding.   It usually takes a village to effect positive change.

Why?

The Mcmichaels were defending property from a person they believed to be a burglary suspect.

At the time, citizen's arrest was still legal in GA.

The suspect resisted citizen's arrest. 

The suspect tried to take McMichael's gun.

.............................................................

Kyle Rittenhouse was defending property from an alleged arsonist.

The alleged arsonist allegedly tried to take Rittenhouse's gun.

The basic elements are somewhat similar.
