This has been my stance for as long as I can remember. But everyone else wants to argue whose shitty team is better.
There are still a lot of Congresspersons who are quite brilliant. It's just that there are quite a few morons. And while Boebert and MTG steal a lot of that spotlight, there are a lot of quiet morons in there who are probably more dangerous because they are writing legislation.
The thing is, really brilliant people go start companies or do research or are great litigators or professors. Congresspeople tend to be the intersection of "Narcissistic, Connected, and Rich" which has nothing to do with capability.
