Both are multimedia, Fox moreso. Both have comparable / contrastable online "news." I don't read the print edition of anything anymore.

That said, whether opinion is delivered in a written  editorial, or by a talking head; it's still an opinion.

Both offer opinions. One tends to give the GOP position as fact and belittles anyone (the media, liberals, Democrats, progressives) that dares to disagree.

The other tends to discuss ideas in a little more nuanced depth and steers you toward a reasoned left of center position. You are much more apt to get more than one side from one of them.

If you think the failing NYT (or any other mainstream media isn’t just as motivated to steer their subscribers toward a certain position as Fox, or to react with disdain to  those who don’t comply, you must be living in a cave.

CNN and MSNBC and the NYT and WaPo and every late night TV show host has done nothing but melt down about Donald Trump for 6+ years now and they show no signs of stopping. It’s all they talk about. And they absolutely loathe and despise anyone who dares to be right of left center.

The progressives are in every bit as much of a war against conservatives as vice versa. And completely willing to be absolutely nasty about it. But everyone likes to think their team is the virtuous one, even when everyone is playing dirty.

It is interesting that Custard replies with insults and apparently did not bother reading.

There is no doubt Wapo and the NYT opinion pieces tend to show disdain for Trump. They offer reasons for their takes.

Fox takes a different approach.
