It was the playoffs too, so had to have the kid in the lineup. We got beat like 7-2 all 7 runs unearned IIRC.

It was a lot of fun. Going to tryouts and drafting a team was great fun. I had a good eye for talent. My 4th rounder was a huge gaffe, though.

But I got the steal of the draft in the 3rd round. Couldn’t believe it how lucky I got when I saw the kid in his first practice. Great draft except for 4th rounder.

I now understand that structural racism is an issue that should be dealt with.
Our Transportation Secretary is saying that overpasses that were built too low to allow a bus full of blacks and Puerto Ricans to get to the beach is a prime example. These bridges should be rebuilt.
One question tho, have they tried to get the same bus with white kids under the overpass ? He didn't address this.
