One can accuse the US and Israel of bad  acts without saying they are the same as the Taliban and Hamas.

That is the case the article makes. The US has admitted to torture and the murder of civilians.

I agree that one can say the US and Israel have committed bad acts.

One can also say Omar may have meant what she said ( to Blinken ), and that due to backlash from her tweet her spokespeople may have come up with she didnt mean to say what she said (to her Twitter followers).
The video is available. The US is not mentioned. I see nothing wrong in what she says to Blinken, but I have no idea what Blinken is saying.

I think Omar Ilhan meant exactly what she said. No more. No less. I don't agree with her. I don't agree with Trump and Pompeo either. I do agree with Blinken.

Omar thinks everyone, including the US and Israel as well as Hamas and the Taliban  should all be held accountable for actions to the International Criminal Court at the Hague. The article I linked agreed with her.

When people are forced to choose between destitute poverty and crappy low paying jobs, isn't that a form of forced labor?

Ross Perot said free trade with Mexico could not work because of an unequal playing field. Wouldn't that also apply to domestic free markets?

There is always a choice. Coercion enters when the alternatives aren't reasonable.

What if someone is asked to work off the clock? The alternative is getting hours cut even more. Their choice.
