The Chicago ICE Field Office has detention centers in multiple neighboring states.

I would guess someone who traveled overseas probably booked transportation and lodging.

ICE appears to be denying it. Not that they are remotely believable. Sometimes there are good people on both sides. Sometimes there are also not so good people on both sides.

I gave a ride to a Navajo woman originally from New Mexico yesterday. Lived most of her life on a reservation. It’s unbelievably fucked up how these people are an afterthought in this country. She was amazingly pleasant and cheerful for all the fucked up shit she dealt with and went through for 40 years.
