There is probably no one who worked harder to bridge the gap between the left and right and help people understand their own perspectives than Charlie Kirk.
The revolution this galvanizes isn’t going to end well for your agenda. It was already on life support, but it’s totally dead now. Just hope you live long enough to see it fully crushed.
Kirk wasn't trying to bridge any gaps. He was very willing to "go and debate" and be in public, which is worth something, but the end of the day, no argument was going be changing his mind, and while he might listen to your perspective, he would then tell you that your perspective was incorrect. Unless by trying to bridge gaps you mean pull everyone over the gap to where he was. Which is fine, but don't make him out to be something he's not. He ran a major Conservative organization, not a major organization of Moderates.
I think it's more telling that you think that Charlie Kirk being shot will "galvanize a revolution", while people who are Democrats never said that about the assassination of the Democratic Speaker of the Minnesota Assembly, or Gabby Giffords, or the hammer assault on the husband of the Democratic Speaker of the House. Are you saying that the people who follow Charlie Kirk are more prone to being activated to violence than random liberals?
