She will not make any effort to push for UHC. If she were a true progressive this would be a hallmark of her platform. She’s a lot like Bill. She’ll tack to the center to broaden her appeal and make as few waves as possible.

SOP for just about every serious candidate who runs for Governor, U.S. Senate or President.  And if Harris gets elected, she will have to tack to the center even more if she wants to achieve any of her policy goals.

The federal government sucks at administering huge programs?

The idea of universal health care is great. The problem most have is that the government will have to run it, meaning it will be big and bloated and function more poorly than it should. Lot of people still have a bad taste in their mouth from Obamacare.
