The one about "talking to the Democratic operative"
Apparently the FBI testified about how big of a loss as a source he has been since this happened and how the FBI still consults with him about the Soviets. Will see if that impacts the jury.
Talk about a boondoggle. Durham has been it. One guy on probation. Another acquitted. Now outing FBI sources. Well done, jackasses.
Durham has been a dumpster fire, but his approach to all of this has been questionable also. He really hasn't done much as of yet, other than going after low hanging fruit.
Nonetheless,
Emails between Danchenko and the 'Democratic operative' show the same information that is seen in the dossier.
Danchenko emails the operative asking for derogatory info on Manafort.
The operative replied via email that he "talked" with a GOP friend, and wrote "she told me"...
Small problem. He never "talked" with the GOP friend, because watching cable news is not talking with unless he was talking to the tv screen.
From trial questioning of the operative ..

And after defense questioning to portray the dossier information as "substantially similar", the prosection follows with ...

Re his loss as a source ....
The FBI was investigating Danchenko around 2010 with suspicions that he was a Russian spy, but dropped their request for a FISA warrant saying he had left the country.
He hadn't left the country, so the FBI is saying they lost track of a suspected Russian spy.
Fast forward to Russiagate and the FBI Human Validation section suggests that Danchenko be polygraphed due to suspicions of being a Russian spy.
Crossfire Hurricane says no, we're good.
Multiple subsources say that information attributed to them in the dossier is hogwash, including one whose name was also used in another "report".
Excuse me, but making up shit obtained from a Democratic operative and from bar buddies and acquaintences to thwart a Presidential candidate who becomes a sitting President and using the name of one of those individuals in at least 1 other report and losing that person as a source is no great loss.
Maybe the FBI shouldn't have lost track of the suspected Russian spy around 2010.
If I'm not mistaken, the "internet sleuths" that the defense was referring to used an FBI declassified document that was obtained thru a FOIA request to out the "source".
This was DNC and FBI paid opposition research that was outed.
And filed in D.C. District Court by one of Danchenko's "sub-sources", which includes the names of individuals tarnished in the Alfa Bank made up story ......

I assume Danchenko will be acquitted and the Durham report will be redacted.
