From the Wisconsin Election Commission .....

"The statewide absentee ballot rejection rate was exceptionally low in November – 0.2%

The rejection rate drops from 1.8 to 0.2.  ;)

79.6% of the "indefinitely confined" voters have shown an acceptable photo ID.
Which means 45,000 haven't.

Then toss in the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling on the unconstitutional ballot boxes.

If any of your court cases go anywhere in the 2 weeks or so between the end of counting votes and the state required certification date, it may be a good idea to have some electors in your court.

After narrowly losing the 2020 election in Wisconsin, Trump sought recounts in the state’s two most Democratic areas and used that process to try to throw out hundreds of thousands of absentee ballots. The state Supreme Court rejected his efforts on Dec. 14, 2020, the day presidential electors around the country were to meet.

Not quite the same thing. Try forging documents indicating you are an MD, CPA, etc., then use them to apply for a job.

There was a serious effort to seat fake electors with forged documents, but Pence refused to cooperate. I gather you knew that.

Pence cooperating would basically game over for the country. He's a douche, but not THAT much of a douche.

If I forge documents, someone would have to dig a bit to find out I was lying. The winner of the Wisconsin election was very publically established. The more apt analogy would be "Try telling the Bears that I started at QB at USC last year", as I stand in front of them, a 56 year old white guy.

If somehow it went "Yup, these fake electors are the real electors, Trump wins", a lot worse shit than Jan 6 would have happened. I for one would cease paying income tax (well, I'd lower my withholding to the minimum, not file, take all my gains on stock and not pay, etc...), I would not be alone. There are always jerkoffs who protest by evading taxes, but they are rare enough that that can be nominally addressed. If half the country just boycotts the government, it's over.

regarding Trump, the reason this trial is a bunch of mularkey is that it's simple occam's razor stuff that this dude has been a skeevy, push the boundaries, break the law and dare anyone to do anything about it, unethical bitch his whole life.

I don't think crystallizing it via a trial changes anything, modulo actual prison time which I don't see happening.
