There is  semi traffick on those back roads. They were banned at one time decades ago.

locals like moi also use the back roads to avoid highways and Interstates.

Those back roads also interconnect small towns.

Lots of trucks also use parts of 47, 45, and 1 presumably to avoid the weigh stations and interstate traffick or as a short cut.

I'm talking about the dead end 3 mile road my Aunt and Uncle live on in Dwight. 4 houses in that 3 mile stretch. Very nice blacktop.

And similar roads. Not transportation corridors, or even arterials.

Sure as hell isn't paved with just their property taxes

I never have before but some of the tropes here kinda make me want to. People that work hard and build things get tired of being talked down to by people who oftentimes haven’t done shit.
In before Tempo (or his multiple mults today)...
"Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business, you didn't build that."
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"

Tempo: "PAMan is a pot stirrer and agent provocateur"

Thank God for men like Custard, or this country would be nothing.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Why are you spreading misinformation?

Those are the minority.

The interesting thing to me is the overall improvement in the roads with Pritzker and he gets little or no credit.

People are too focused on his toilets.

I suspect roads are something the average person only notices if they are bad.

25k tax credit to buy a house should really help bring housing prices in line 🤣

This is a modification of something Biden proposed. No details yet.

Why do you hate first-time home buyers so much?

The home builders like her proposals, but they want to see more focus on the supply side of the equation. Sounds like an opportunity for bi-partisan legislation if she's elected.

I hate policies that sound good and/or make people feel good but don’t actually help the situation or even make it worse.

Government money is a big reason behind the runaway housing market and inflation to begin with. Tax credits will just serve to inflate the market further unless supply is addressed. Which would then drive up raw materials costs if it isn’t handled correctly.
