This deserves its own thread. Americans are going to love this guy. Progressives have been waiting for someone to step up and fill the void for Bernie and I think Walz is that guy in spades. I’m not sure he has a weakness (maybe Kamala and the Democratic Party, that’s it). He’s really good at finding weak spots where conservatives can be attacked. His framing is excellent (just call them weird!). 24 year veteran, teacher, football coach, people compare him to the guy at Home Depot that can explain for 20 minutes why you need hex bolts for your project. The guy is personable, smart, and gets things done.

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

I think this guy will connect with the American people in a way that Bernie couldn’t quite do.

Maga trying hard to smear the guy before Americans get to him. I suspect it'll backfire due to the hypocrisy. Besides he comes across likeable.

I don’t think I’ve heard your point thoughts on him yet. Surprisingly.

I do not know much about him. I know he was originally thought of fondly by the NRA and that changed after Sandy Hook. From what I have read so far, it appears he is pro gun control limits that I believe to be sane and respectful of the Second Amendment rights of responsible gun owners. I am hopeful that he is not one of the loony Squad-like Progressives and that all of you will be as disappointed in him as you were in Obama (who was never a "progressive wack job"). I will withhold judgment until I hear more.

Tim Walz is everyone’s favorite uncle!  I hear he’s really a good shot to boot.  I think he played Otis on the Andy Griffith Show.

Gotta get me one of those Harris-Walz camo hats.  A very fashionable, must-have for Jan 20th.

Biden can drop the full weight on any election interference until Jan 20 ("Official Duty").

Yeah, but a bunch of FOID card and weapons carrying camo hat wearing individuals assisting in protecting the certification would be something to see, wouldn't it?
