Funny. Stats matter. Until they don’t.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

You’re the one that keeps flip flopping on this though…

I literally said that’s an issue that absolutely needs to be cleaned up and worked on at the next level.  Also mentioned when I watched him he held the ball one handed away from his body too much.

Fumbling also a huge problem for the guy you spend all your time defending, but if I mention that it’ll be someone else’s fault obviously.  Everything is.  If I was 10% as defensive of Caleb Williams as you are of Fields there’d be six quotes about it, half of them made up, in your signature.

As a reminder though the person who said “the stats are the stats” was not me.  You said that.  You’re mocking me for something YOU said.

No, stats tell the story. Until they don’t.

Have you considered maybe reading what others say and responding to that, instead of … whatever it is you’re trying to do here?

Like literally, one person here has said “the stats are the stats”.  It was you.  I acknowledged that Caleb Williams seems to have a fumbling issue that he will need to correct.  So does Justin Fields, and he has a lot more experience.

FTR, he was with Oklahoma as their WR coach for 7 seasons, and Oklahoma has been putting a lot of receivers in the NfL im pretty sure. So “deepest group ever” should be significant.

Justin Fields gets no reprieve from a clear lack of supporting play, but if someone posts stats we don’t like we have to whine about how Caleb Williams didn’t have 1st round receivers. Seems “fair.”

From the LA Times this week. This seems to dispel the narrative that USC is a WR wasteland.

My bad, meant to quote this one.

Have literally never whined about Caleb Williams not having first round receivers.

I pointed out that you often handwave criticism of Fields' play by talking about his supporting cast, but their support casts in college (all we have to go on re: Williams to this point) weren't really comparable - and I'm right, they weren't.

You know that though, you're just flailing for SOMETHING that might feel like a win to you on a day when you're stuck defending that bad game Fields just had instead of just acknowledging, yeah he didn't play well today.  Which apparently you're constitutionally incapable of, no matter what.

Guessing this assures that Caleb Williams and quite possibly Lincoln Riley are coming to the NFL…

I just posted an article in which a 20 year receiving coach who’s coached a large handful of NFL players says he has the deepest receiving corps he’s ever had. Sure, not as good as Ohio State, but hardly something to complain about. Caleb Williams had plenty of talent at the WR position.

So the tape is bad.
