So far the only thing I think he has on Fields is touch.
He, in my opinion, is considerably better as a passer in broken play situations than Fields.
Fields is notably better as a runner, like tucking the ball and getting yardage on the ground IMO, but doesn’t keep his eyes up field and find open guys on broken plays like Williams did in the tape I watched of him. I think that’s also where Williams’ trouble will come in the league - whereas a lot of guys I think you need to add to their game in the NFL, Williams will need to be reined in some for sure.
Like I said at the time, I think the comp (in style, not quality) is more in the Rodgers/Mayfield “gunslinger” mold than Fields. Both are great at using their feet to escape pressure, but they have different skill sets from that point on.
