It’s absolutely amazing how Trump has most of the left rabidly supporting deeply unpopular overall political positions, including openly wishcasting that the air strikes to limit Iran’s ability to build nuclear weapons weren’t successful.

No one here really knows how effective the strikes were, but there has definitely been an eagerness from the American left to embrace Iranian reports that the bombs didn’t do anything. These people won’t give Trump a W no matter what he does, even when it’s something that very clearly benefits America/the world.

These people are ideologically captured and cannot be trusted. Luckily they have the Democrat party so crippled that the midterms should be a walk in the park and the good guys can continue to rid our country (and the world) of the criminal scum that Obama3 let run rampant during his 4 year snooze.
Be careful what you think about the midterms.
The assessment was a preliminary and low-confidence leak. Hopefully, but it won't happen, they'll ID the leaker.
Nonetheless, Iran came to the peace table. I'm not sure they're doing that over a minor setback.

I mean, if the first strikes actually weren’t as effective as they wanted, then yeah. If this can foster a lasting peace and nuclear deterrence, then it will be worth it even if it didn’t completely destroy the enrichment facilities. But I think we have all been around long enough to know this wasn’t so much about the facilities themselves so much as a show of power.
