Alabama is a 3 loss team. And didn’t have to play the #1 team in the country on the road. Which was a 1 point loss for OSU.

I only have one rule in life: 3 loss teams don’t get to complain about being left out of the playoffs. Actually, I lied; I have two rules. The other is don’t bet money that you don’t have on a dog race with an ex-girlfriend who happens to be a stripper (100 HQ2 bonus points for anyone who gets the reference).

And you also don’t get to complain about losing a spot to a team you lost to. Especially by 3+ TDs.

My original point was Ohio State has to be in - and if they are in, Indiana is also in. Indiana has one loss to what was until today the #2 team

They have a better resume than SMU or Miami in my view. The ACC should get one team

They lose their chance at a bye but probably get a home game in which they are easily favored.

South Carolina beats Clemson. If that knocks out Clemson from the playoffs, does the SEC get another team? If so is it Alabama or South Carolina that just beat Clemson?

How do you put in 2 loss OSU over 1 loss Indiana? Feels like Indiana is in. How do you rank OSU/PSU/Indiana if PSU loses to Oregon and also has 2 losses?

The playoff committee is really gonna have to rely on “look, if you were the first team out you would have had no shot a couple years ago” - because this is gonna be gross

It’s gonna be awesome. Not gross. If you’re not firmly inside the top 12, you can eff off. No whining. Unless someone is egregiously screwed (say Indiana losing out to a 3 loss team which seems unlikely).
