Nagy did something very similar to Trubisky. “Hey man, that’s awesome that you can make plays with your legs, but stay in the pocket and be the guy I want you to be instead of the guy you are!”

Developing a quarterback is like painting a masterpiece. You do it stroke by stroke. ADDING layers and texture to the subject that you already have.

I’d like to see another quarterback coach/offensive guru added to the room at least. I’m a Bears junkie and obviously a Justin Fields backer, and I can’t even recall who their quarterback coach is. I’m going to have to look it up.

He’s been a QB coach in the NFL two years best I can tell. Spent one year ten years ago as quarterback coach at Mercyhurst. Lol

Can maybe blame this one on the McCaskeys. There HAS to be a better QB coach out there. Poles should be doing everything he can to maximize Fields. I’m not sure Janocko and Getsy are doing that.
