I’d just like the future franchise quarterback of the Chicago Bears to explain why he wasn’t prioritizing the business of the Chicago Bears during one of the most important months of his life. Seems like a reasonable question to me.

I realize it’s not the 1950s anymore, but I’d want to see my franchise quarterback show a high sense of urgency working with his new franchise, especially when he’s supposed to be “making an impression.”

I also don’t care that he went to the golf tournament. As a big PGA fan, I found that likable about him that he apparently likes golf. What I didn’t like is his cavalier attitude about things that the Chicago Bears deem quite important. I can promise you, Ryan Poles wanted his medicals sooner.

Yes, but they wasn’t always a given. Lots of scouts and GMs were miffed that Caleb didn’t do things the standard way. And yes, I get that those guys are crusty. I can assure you Poles wasn’t happy either, but it was obviously not enough to prevent interest in Caleb. Again, you guys confuse some mild criticism with condemnation.
