He’s always been funny. He’s just too on-the-nose for those like Murph who are in his crosshairs.

Somehow accidentally googled HQ2 today instead of navigating to it. This made me chuckle for some reason.

I never 'got' Seinfeld, Friends, or the Office. Friends at least had one one redeeming value to keep it from being totally boring.

I think growing up with shows like Jackie Gleason, Lucy, Andy Griffith, and Dick Vandyke, followed up by MTM and spin offs, All in the Family, the Jeffersons, Sanford & Son,  WKRP, Barny Miller, Mork and Mindy etc set a high standard. I did like Monk.

Man, speaking of the price of stuff. I went to lunch at fucking Panera today with my wife. We each got the pick 2, half sandwich, lukewarm shitty bowl of soup, hard chunk of cold bread and a small soft drink, and paid like 36 dollars for it. Fuck that place. Good lord, never again.

They've always been expensive. It's just a sandwich and soup. Only marginally better than subway and not even close to PotBelly. It *feels* like it's a cheap place to go until you see the bill.

Yeah, I hadn't actually gone there to eat in many years. My work, every once in a while, would get a big assortment of bagels and coffee from there when we had meetings and shit. Didn't care about the price because I wasn't buying.

Yeah, I was fucking shocked.

The broccoli cheddar bowl with sour dough is fucking amazing.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

My company may be doing well but I have always have been the type to either eat out at home or when I go out, I go OUT and splurge on a nice meal I can't create at home. Always have deli meats around to either make a sando or dress up a salad for lunch (yeah that's right snowflakes I grew the goddamn lettuce).

So one day, we didn't have any bread and I was craving a sando. I was about to ride 10 blocks to the store then thought, hey, Panera is just 2 blocks, I can get a loaf from them. A loaf of goddamn sliced sourdough from Panera is fucking 12 bucks. We have a very good French Bakery down the street that is 10x as good and half the price. I mean, this is a place that has 70 dollar cakes (that are freaking good cakes but I don't need cake that badly) - but you can still get a loaf of bread for 5-6 bucks and it's fucking awesome bread. The Panera bread is just basic grocery store commodity bread.

I don't have a problem paying for quality. I just don't like paying a lot for "meh".

Did you just order a $10 soup. That's broccoli, cheddar, and bread. No bourbon it or nothing?

Goddamn that's some pretty good soup. Don't know if it's worth $10 but it's pretty fucking good.

For some reason we went to Chipotle a month or so ago. Was $46 for two of us and so thoroughly mediocre I could barely choke it down.
