That’s a pretty nuanced concept for ThePAMan. Not sure the guy who thinks only quarterbacks have win/loss record responsibility will get it.
LOL.
You never did tell me Whitehair's W-L record as a Center versus as a Guard.

W-L is not a overrated stat for qb's!

A lot fo the w-l is also decided by LEADERSHIP QUALITIES

QB'S who have great W-L records were all great LEADERS in the locker room.

PAMan, who doesn’t like narrative driven content, can’t help but fall
for narrative driven content. Thinks wins/losses is a quarterback stat

Or to put it more clearly; PAMan, who can’t stand “talking head” types from ESPN, can’t help but fall for ESPN caliber narratives.

Probably better than the QBR stat.

Which is ironic since you love to tell us what Dan Orlovsky says re JFC.

I literally cannot think of anything more “mindless talking head” than believing wins/losses are a quarterback stat.

And like 30 other people. Including former HOF quarterbacks.

There’s a difference between listening to analysts and falling for hot take narratives.

I have no problem listening to Dan Orlovsky break down his actual play. If he starts evaluating a quarterback on wins/losses, that’s where I would tune him out.

David Woodley 34-18-1 as a career starter. Put him in the HOF TODAY.

I could listen to Dan Orlavsky’s evaluation of a quarterback’s play because he would seem equipped to do that a high level. As soon as I hear him say “the only quarterback stat that matters is wins/losses,” I’d immediately know I can tune him out because he’s a fucking moron.

First, there are plenty of mindless stats out there. Second, no one here has said that W-L is the end all of stats or completely on the QB. But we all know that it is out there. One example is Archie Manning. Had a terrible W-L record because he was on terrible teams. Acknowledged to be a great QB but he is not in the HOF is he?

Back to David Woodley. There isn’t a single person alive (besides maybe his mom) that thinks David Woodley was a high-level starting quarterback because he had a stellar record as a starter.
