Hawkins and Shannon have always had different standards to stay in.
Hawkins just wants to know there is enough interest that he'll be drafted. That's looking dubious. Most of his measurables are simply below average. He does see the court and passes well for 6-10. He can guard a little. That's about it. Unless he is looking forward to playing oversees, he should stay in college, get a degree, collect the NIL.
Shannon wants 2 teams to tell him they plan to draft him and offer a guaranteed contract. His measurables show exceptional speed and quickness. Everything else is average or below. There are plenty of 6-6 guys just as fast; with better hands, length, hops, and skills. He should stay in school for the continuing free education and NIL money. Unless he wants to play in Japan or the Philippines for less money.
