Hawkins/TSJ/PG thread 1 week out.
« on: May 27, 2023, 09:39:29 AM »
Figured a new thread for posts may be needed.

Hawkins in this article less than a day old, certainly seems to be grounded, this was after the GS workout I believe....seems very likely he comes back the ILLINI if all the other chips fall. He knows he needs to improve offensively and the surefire way to do that is run it back with a team that he knows, not on the NBA bench or a G-League roster.

https://247sports.com/college/illinois/article/illinois-forward-coleman-hawkins-nba-draft-decision-fighting-ill-210791139/

TSJ I have always thought will come back, just too many 6'-6 guys with athletic ability in the NBA...TSJ needs to separate himself from them and also any others in the draft this year/next. He stands a better chance next year imo. There are 10 like players in the 1st rd alone this year.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10076423-stock-up-stock-down-how-the-2023-nba-draft-combine-changed-our-mock-draft

Shows TSJ at 47 to the Lakers....which I don't think is a good fit either way as well. Hawk is not on the board.

I want to be the first one in this thread to say don’t listen to anyone else, I’m the only one that knows anything.

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Yes. Had an annoying typo.

Don’t ever doubt me, I’m the only true insider.

TSJ is G-O-N-E.
Use your common sense.
He will be 24 years old next year. He will never be a first round pick.
He’s already a guaranteed second rd pick. That his maxed out value.
No pro players wants to be in college for 5 years.

Hawkins hates college and he will leave even if he’s undrafted.  That’s why Underwood brought Guerrier in.  Guerrier would not be here if he thought Hawkins was coming back.

Whatever scrub PG they find won’t matter.  This team will be one of the worst teams in the Big 10 next year and unless Sparky is AD, Whitman is gonna fire him next March.

Sticky it.  I have spoken. And it will be true.

You promising to leave yet again if incorrect? !!!!!!

All I’ve bet is Sparky being gone with TSJ gone.

If any of the other cancers want to bet I’m open to terms.

I’m actually very bullish on Underwood being fired after next season for a few reasons.

*Whitman hates his sideline antics and roster turnover rate.  Underwood has graduated like 2 of 17 freshman recruits he’s brought to campus.

*The fact they can’t get anyone good to come here despite being able to pay people falls on the coach. If everyone hates the boss so much they either quit after a year, or take lower salary elsewhere that’s a problem.

*Lack of any success without Kofi Cockburn

*Future roster looks terrible. You can’t build a team bringing in 5 new starters every season.

Ouch. You’d think we’d have more tourney wins with those numbers.

I offered you the bet on your claim of record lowest attendance this year.
If you win you get to suck the dicks of all of Loyalty guys you so desperately want to like you.
If you lose they all buttfuck you as usual and send you to the curb once again.

What are you afraid of you fucking pussy? You win either way.

Hawkins and Shannon have always had different standards to stay in.

Hawkins just wants to know there is enough interest that he'll be drafted. That's looking dubious. Most of his measurables are simply below average. He does see the court and passes well for 6-10. He can guard a little.  That's about it. Unless he is looking forward to playing oversees, he should stay in college, get a degree,  collect the NIL.

Shannon wants 2 teams to tell him they plan to draft him and offer a guaranteed contract. His measurables show exceptional speed and quickness. Everything else is average or below. There are plenty of 6-6 guys just as fast; with better hands, length, hops, and skills. He should stay in school for the continuing free education and NIL money. Unless he wants to play in Japan or the Philippines for less money.

You got like 3 days left.

Your cancerous trolling of this website, non-stop arguing with Tempo and others over the Sun rising in the East, is almost done.

You’re only over here bc you ran off everyone from the Scout board.

Enjoy that graveyard.

Nichi and LKDog, you’re next. Get in line.
