And for how much people rave about Lamar Jackson, his running ability hasn’t won him shit. Dude is a fucking QB, not a running back.
Because FOX News told me so…

Stafford is 23/39 for 294 yards and 3TD/0INT today, but go off.

In the rain....

Saw that McVay has a great W-L record in the Eastern time zone as Ram coach.

Terrible from Stafford there to not get that play off.

Actually looked like he was begging for it to be snapped - what was that about?

Why are the Jags going for 2?

Fields makes plays with his legs, but they don’t count.

It was still a horrible throw and he was lucky it wasn’t picked. He did exactly what I said he does.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

But look at his passing numbers.

When did Stafford shed his reputation as an empty stats loser? Oh, when he joined McVay, Kupp, and the Rams.

Of course they count.  I've probably pointed out that he was electric with his legs today at least a dozen times, you just ignore all those because you're the most sensitive Fields cultist in the world.  I don't think the rushing yards are sustainable long term and if we're going to keep him he needs to also be able to move the ball with his arm, and I don't think that's a controversial take about an NFL QB anywhere outside of arguments with Fields defenders.

Yes, it was a bad throw.  He also was in the midst of a passing game that's pretty pedestrian for him but would've been one of the three or four best passing games Fields has ever had (he's had more than 294 yards once, and more than 3 TD twice in 35 starts) in the rain.

If you want to compare Fields to Stafford as a passer we can do that obviously, I just don't know why you'd want to do that.

When he won a Super Bowl?

Which was after he joined the Rams IIRC.

And he was gifted that SB by the refs.

If Fields was consistently putting up a ton of huge empty stats in losses, nobody would be wanting to move on from him.

He had 223 yards passing and 1 TD today and you're acting like he was Joe Montana.  That's without obviously discussing that the TD was an absolutely inexcusable defensive meltdown by the opponent, and without that meltdown his passer rating would've been in the low 70's.

If THIS is the kind of game from Fields that makes you go "see, we should hold onto him!" we probably aren't ever going to agree.  This was a middling game from an NFL QB.
