The guy on Facebook I honestly almost never see anymore. We were close in school, and even moreso after HS. Didn’t know this until recently but it seems we’re distant cousins. His dad showed up as like my 4th cousin on DNA app.

To be honest, my buddy was a bully growing up. He bullied me in grade school. But we’ve had a lot of good times together. He’s the one that inspired me to join the Corps.

We’re very different people today, though.

We still message each other occasionally about sports and whatnot. He was a very good baseball player. Junior college All-American. When we played as kids he was the guy everyone backed up 40 feet for when he batted.

We pull in about 30-40k a month before taxes so why is spending 13k that out of the realm of possibility?  Especially since it's for two people that travel quite a bit.
