I have no clue how ON3 adduces NIL value, but they have Shannon at 1/4 million. Then there is the value of his basketball scholarship, roughly $30,000. Plus any degrees he earns will benefit him long after he is done playing ball.

I don't believe any of the draft projections. He needs to go through the process and get feedback.

He might get drafted in the 2nd round, but he is unlikely to get a guaranteed contract.   A two way is possible and he should go for that. If it looks like Europe or g league, he should probably stay in school.

Of course, none of us know his personal goals or the actual NIL amount.

They use a formula based on how many followers you have on social media, what level of school you play at, etc.

Most 2nd round picks get guaranteed deals these days.  A two-way basically means playing in the G-League.

I'm curious whether you actually believe that a basketball scholarship's true value is $30,000 a year.
