There was one three technique lineman in the draft. Great ones are rare to come by. Good to be the Eagle to be able to take a chance on him.

You don’t get AD level players by passing on AD level talent.  The Bears had one of the worst drafts last night and that’s why Tempo is pissed.  They’d have been better off taking Levis or Carter.  Those are each potentially franchise level changing talents.

“Plugging holes” on the worst team in the NFL ain’t gonna do a damn thing.

I’ve since settled on he was that high on Wright. Not sure why else he’d settle for a day 3 pick next year for a guy projected to go at like 5.5 or 6.5 (can’t recall which).

If it’s under 6 wins the tank was a disaster and passing on potentially great players to “plug holes” is a good way to stay in the cellar of the NFC Central.

Lions/Vikings are clearly better.  We will see with the Packers sans Rodgers
