So the Ukrainian *Government* took guns that were controlled by the *Government*, and gave those guns to their citizens, and now those citizens, despite not having a large personal cache of guns that they have already been trained to use, are out their doing a pretty fine job against the Russians.

Remind me again why the citizens need to have a bunch of guns?
