Except for the brief 8 point run, the first half was dead.   The energy level picked up a lot in the second half.

Not good and not surprising after he shoulder checked Underwood during the IU game.

Underwood should bench Epps for the OSU game and start either Rodgers or Harris.  Let Epps sulk on the bench some more or go hang out with Sky Clark.

I don’t see a problem with it. Epps might’ve realized the team was playing much better without him and chose to not go in. It’s not an issue in my opinion.

Eh.  I don't think most D1 basketball players have that mentality.

Players want to play.  They're not into sitting because "the team is better off without me."

I'm guessing he's pissed off, and was throwing a little hissy fit.

I agree if that’s the issue as well. Either way, I don’t see an issue with this going forward. Things happen in the heat of the game/moment. It will be handled and all will be ok.

illini0440 on loyalty who has as good a track record on reality as anyone is saying there is a problem between him and the coaches.  Didn't get into a lot of details but it sounds like he isn't doing what the coaches are asking from him in games.  He refused to re-enter the game after taking himself out.  In any of the highlights I didn't see him stand up and clap or yell once in the final run of the game.  He was the only player on the bench that just sat there and pouted as his team made their run.

It's not a good sign, especially at the point of the season that we are in.  His body language in the clips is very concerning. 
Hopefully it blows over and its nothing, but Illini0440 saying this is something that has been going on for a little while now.  Which gives me even more concern.
