Loyalty to the PGA Tour, which gave them the platform to be as successful as they are. Legacy. I guarandamntee you Jon Rahm stayed because he cares about legacy. Not money. Same with Tiger. If any player went hard after LIV on moral grounds I missed it. And I’m the biggest PGA fan here, probably by a wide margin.

Not saying the implications weren’t there, they were; but I’m not sure I heard one player mention Jamal Khashoggi, for example. Other than Phil, who’d already joined LIV. I believe Phil mentioned him when he called the Saudis “Scary M’fers,” despite holding his hand out for the money.

I guess Rory did mention Khashoggi (once at least anyway). But I think they were careful not go too hard on moral grounds, which disappoints me actually. I wish PGA Tour players had been more vocal about the human rights’ issues.

Replace “expect” with “hope for.” Again, I’ve been stating why they wouldn’t leave the tour. Because it’s their job and it’s by far the best place to perform their job.
