Don't agree with this either.  He needs to get much, much better as a passer.  Part of it is scheme, and you don't want to take away his legs, but he needs to be throwing for more than 150 yards a game.

No major qualms here. In no way am I saying he’s fully developed. But I think the ingredients are there. You don’t get to be the best passer (according to PFF) in a 10 year window in college without some semblance of passing ability.

Yep. And he learned to do that at Oklahoma. Except for the two year window after that where he wasn’t considered a good passing NFL quarterback. Until he was.

LOL. Remember the part about the "head start" where he knew he needed to work on passing? Of course not.

We all now know that Fields needs to do a lot of work on passing (despite what he did at OSU throwing to wide open guys). He's behind.

Says the guy who blames the roster for Fields being one of the worst passers in the NFL....uh maybe the roster (and crap B1G opposition) was one of the reasons he looked really good at OSU? We shall see.

Yes. Because Fields wasn’t working on his passing…what a lazy sumbitch.

He may have been working on it but it sure looks like he did not learn much over the past 2 years as a pro.

It’s no small part of it. Would Justin be All-Pro with Philly? Don’t know. I’m sure he’d better, though. Probably even pretty good.

I would hope so. Imagine if Mahomes was on Philly?

Except for that time in the 2nd half of the season where he was clearly better (then had one really poor game against Detroit, probably playing injured).

Nagy clearly mishandled Fields. The Bears should sue him for malpractice.

Would probably look a lot like it does with the Chiefs.

He was "better" because they stopped trying to run a prototypical NFL offense and decided to let him run amuck. Like Spark said, he has to be able to pass for more than 150 yards.

One would think the score would have been far different Sunday if the QBs switched sides.

Except for that 11 game stretch where he was clearly much better for about 9 of them and was about league average in yards per attempt (so better than terrible).

And if you take out the first few games, I bet he’s above league average for yards per attempt.

That's an 11 game stretch where he threw for 200 yards twice.  I'm not sure it makes your point.

And not to mention absolutely otherworldly as a running threat.
