Illini 70% from the line. Can't wait until Jan 16th.

I’m just super impressed you were able to diagnose this team as a bad free-throw shooting team after only one game on the season. Kudos to you for being AOTC.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Totally forgot about this game tonight.

I only do the Hey Tempo There's a Game...for the football games.
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"

Tempo: "PAMan is a pot stirrer and agent provocateur"

Yeah well, I somewhat have a life now. Sometimes I get sidetracked from the important stuff.

While I appreciate the compliment, it is free shot shooting. It is not tough to diagnose.

Those Bear mocks do take a lot of time.

Particularly when extrapolating the rest of the season after one game.

Particularly when extrapolating the rest of the season after one game.

Easy to do for free shot shooting.

Appears they scrapped the switching on D. Teams were easily exploiting all the mismatches that came from it. I never liked going back to it since it really didn't net us great results in Underwood's first 2.5 years here but I suppose he believed with better athletes it would be different this time around.

I'm not even gonna entertain the idea of the ship being righted after beating up on Harriet Tubman. We need to get a W in Evanston for this thing to start turning in the right direction again.

For all the talk leading up to the season about switching everything our lead guards never had the size to do it, and learning it with a whole new assemblage of talent was a tall task regardless.

I mean if Shannon or Hawkins (or Rodgers, for that matter) could actually be the primary ball handlers the way the staff had *hoped*, maybe we could pull it off. But Clark, Epps and Harris all have to play too many minutes, creating laughable mismatches.

Less so for Harris, but still. I think when we go against Purdue there might be a switch he gets stuck on Edey, and he’ll grab Edey’s arm to keep him from scoring, but Edey will just dunk the ball regardless with Harris still clutching it as they both go through the rim.

Hasn’t been a good month for the staff, or some guys we need more from. Brad loves to fall in love with his pet ideas and run them well past their expiration dates. Glad to see some changes. There are way too many solid pieces on this team to be getting Eiffel towered by PSU at home and subsequently anally gaped and creampied by fucking Mizzou.

With these defensive changes,  and hopefully the creation of an offense, I remain hopeful this team can actually win at least 2 games in the Only End of the Season March Tourney That Matters.

Going into yesterday, we were 306th in free shot shooting percentage.
We'll be worse with the updated stats.
We were 203 in 3 pt percentage at 33.33%.
We didn't help ourselves in that stat either.
We were 18th in 3 pt shots attempted per game.
We'll still be in the top 20 for 3 pt shots attempted per game, hang a banner, while blistering the nets at 33 %.

We were 315th in turnovers per game at 15.2
And we turned the ball over 18 times in a rough and tumble game with Bethune-Cookman.
So we didn't help ourselves in that stat either.
But it was comforting to hear Bardo say something to the effect that Underwood will have words with the team about the turnovers.  ;D

I appreciate that it took being manhandled by Mizzou for Brad to start our best guard. For the next revelation I hope shooting 28% at home against a one-bid conference team convinces him that we are not a 3 pt shooting team.

I would argue the 203rd is a bigger problem than the 306th.
