Fox News and WSJ passed on the story because they couldn't verify it.  Just as I suspected, the bulk of the content remains unauthenticated to this day.

Guilliani and Tony Bobulinski had been peddling some of it before the lap top surfaced.

But the media companies aren't going to release internal communications for the hell of it like the new owner of Twitter is doing.

I'm talking about if the Feds were running interference for the Biden campaign. Seems odd that the Feds would do that at the tech companies, but not the actual media companies. If they actually ran interference at the media companies, you think someone would have reported that at the time.

If the FBI had access to Giuliani's emails, they can try to determine their most effective interference plan. Maybe they knew he was having trouble getting WaPo or whoever to go with the story.
Nonetheless, what media company did or didn't cover the laptop story isn't the issue.

That seems like even more of a stretch, Mn. Based on what you are saying, if Guiliani's emails showed the NY Post was proceeding, wouldn't they then go muscle the NY Post?

I hear what you are saying,  but it just seems to fall apart as there is nothing indicating that they went to the people who would be the ones actually reporting the story they are allegedly trying to squash.

Wouldn't more people actually see the article mentioned on The Drudge Report? Maybe I'm projecting, as that is where I saw it linked at the time.
