But yet you “expect” him to pull it together and lead the Bears to the Super Bowl. You sound like a totally reasonable person.

Yes, I expect him to meet the expectations all you guys on The Twitter and 670theGOP (h/t Tempo34!) have placed on him as The Franchise QB....

Rodgers was great long before Luke Getsy became their quarterback coach (not even OC). Rodgers in 2010 (I think it was) was as good as any year I’d seen a QB have. Should we credit Getsy for that?

No. So does that mean The Bear is fucked?

Might have been 2009. Wanna say it was the year before they won the Super Bowl. Rodgers was unbelievable even though his line was bad.

No, it means let’s see how this develops with some actual NFL talent before coming to any hard conclusions.

He somehow has a very difficult time remembering all the way back as far as 2021, and 2019 when Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen weren’t thought of as “good passers.”

I remember. I just don't know if they were sitting around watching NBA basketball instead of hitting the books.

Allen still has accuracy problems. Hurts had one year. Will see how they do going forward, won't we?

Because he could use his mobility to actually still throw the ball instead of just running it?

Wonder if Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, and Ahman Green helped at all in that regard.

He was also like in his 4th year in the system.

My bad, 5th year in the system.

A Justin Fields report for PAMan! He’s “been spotted at the building often, and working hard on short and timing throws! Mechanics look clean!” No word on how much tape he’s watched…

Betting you can throw a good ball in the flat.

I got a good arm, but I’d need to watch some film before I get thrown into action.

You sound qualified to be Fields’ backup, at least.

NFL offenses have evolved a bit since my HS glory days of the late 90s running the full house backfield.
